General

The following terms and conditions apply to all transactions within “1stclasscelebrations.co.uk”. By using our web site and/or registering, you confirm your agreement to our terms and conditions, including the Privacy Policy.

These terms and conditions are subject to English law and the parties hereby submit to the jurisdiction of the English Courts.

None of these terms and conditions affect your statutory rights.

Failure by us to enforce any of these terms and conditions will not affect our right to enforce the rest of these terms and conditions.

Sales

To order goods through this website you must be at least 18 years of age.

Products and colours may differ slightly from the images shown and images are not to scale.

Prices are in UK £ sterling. Prices exclude delivery charges but include Vat unless otherwise stated.

Your credit card company at prevailing rates of exchange when applicable will make currency conversion.

You undertake that all details you provide to us for the purpose of ordering or purchasing goods are correct, that the credit or debit card you are using is your own and that there are sufficient funds to cover the cost of your order. If there are any changes to the details supplied by you it is your responsibility to inform “1stclasscelebrations.co.uk” as soon as possible.

Payment will be taken immediately.

First orders will only be delivered to the credit cards registered address.

Delivery times quoted are for UK mainland delivery only

Deliveries to BFPO addresses available but not as a next day delivery.

All orders are made subject to acceptance by you of the site’s terms and conditions.

Once we accept your order you are bound by these terms and conditions.

Fulfilment of the order is subject to availability and acceptance of your order, at our discretion “1stclasscelebrations.co.uk” is under no obligation to fulfil your order.

No contract will subsist between you and “1stclasscelebrations.co.uk” for the sale by it to you of any product unless and until “1stclasscelebrations.co.uk” accepts your order by email. That acceptance will be deemed complete and will be deemed for all purposes to have been effectively communicated to you at the time “1stclasscelebrations.co.uk” sends the email to you. (whether or not you receive that email).

Any reliance you place upon any Materials or Products will be at your sole risk and it is solely your responsibility to ensure that the Materials and Products meet your requirements.

If we do not supply the goods for any reason we will not charge you for these goods and we will refund any money already paid for the goods.

These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights

Returns  - Faulty Goods

If the product is faulty or you have received an incorrect delivery you must notify us via e-mail to “sales@1stclasscelebrations.co.uk” within 7 days of receipt.

We cannot accept liability for return orders damaged during transit and advise that you package the products adequately to prevent this happening.

Proof of postage is not necessarily proof of delivery and you are therefore strongly advised to send your package by recorded delivery, registered post or courier and to maintain sufficient insurance to cover the value of the goods.

The following information should be included inside the packaging, your daytime telephone number, your order number or postcode and a detailed reason for the return.

On receipt of returned goods, we will assess the product according to the fault you have stated. If we agree with the fault, you will receive a full refund or replacement goods free of charge.

Returns  - Unwanted Goods

You have the right to cancel your order; you do not need to state a reason for cancellation. If the goods have already been delivered they must be returned to us within 14 days of receipt. Goods must be returned unused and in the condition they were delivered in. You will be responsible for return delivery costs, but will be refunded the full cost of the products within 30 days of cancellation, according to the terms above.

The only exceptions to the above are goods purchased which are manufactured to your specifications, i.e. personalised goods. In this case, we reserve the right not to accept the order cancellation of unwanted products.

Security Policy

We do not store credit card information in our database. When credit card details are needed, you will be taken to a secure payment page provided by Protx. The payment information that we send to Protx, in order to set the payment up, is again encrypted by SSL and has the additional security measure of being digitally signed by ourselves in such a manner that only Protx can decode it. Any tampering with the payment information will result in an invalid transaction.

Privacy Policy

We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998).

We collect information about you for two reasons: firstly, to process your order and second, to provide you with the best possible service.

The only data collected is that which is supplied by you at the time of ordering and registering.

You will given the chance to refuse any marketing email from us or from another trader in the future.

We will never collect sensitive information about you without your explicit consent.

The information we hold will be accurate and up to date. You can check the information that we hold about you by clicking on 'My Account'. If you find any inaccuracies you have the facility to amend them.

The personal information that we hold will be held securely in accordance with our internal security policy and the law.

If we intend to transfer your information outside the EEA (European Economic Area) we will always obtain your consent first.

We do not use technology to track the patterns of behaviour of specific visitors to our site. When we analyse our site traffic, it is on an anonymous basis, and does not highlight any particular individual. 'Cookies' are only used to remember your logon name if you have previously logged onto the system and just for your convenience.
